It looks good!
Doesn't hurt that there are some design homages to "Alien" in there.
Can you spot 'em? |

Thanks for the heads up on that one!
Looks really good.
Looks like it's referenced 2001 a bit aswell.
Here's a cool shot that reminds me of ALIEN & 2001...

I see the helmets design is very similar with the "skylight" openings in the sides, and the famous "purina" checker design symbol is all over the ship. The ships doors/airlocks and corridors also look very similar to Alien.

Excellent, Andy! Those are the things I noticed.
Also, if you look next to the 'purina' checker in the display it says "purge"! |

Also, lots of the signs on the walls look like the ones in ALIEN. |

I totaly agree with what's been said in the previous posts, but... it looks a little cheap compared to ALIEN and 2001, don't you think ???

It's a low budget movie but i think it looks really well made.
I don't think anything can beat ALIEN & 2001 really though |

Even at a low-budget, it`s still to expensive for our wallet (as in million of $). Commandable efforts non the less. |

Just came from seeing "Moon" starring Sam Rockwell. You should see it if you get the chance. I'd say it is a major, major science fiction film, just mindblowingly well done. Think "2001" with notes of "Silent Running", Tarkovsky's "Solaris" and "Blade Runner" (with more than a little of the quirkiness of "Primer", but without that film's mind-bending contortions of logic).
The film has "secrets" which it would be a shame to spoil, so I won't go into detail. Suffice to say it captures the soul of SF like no film I have seen since... well for a LONG time. It is like a Philip K Dick story written by Arthur C Clarke.
EASY to see how another filmmaker would have made oatmeal out of this thing. Its biggest triumph is that it is NOT a big summer blockbuster with all that implies.
Highest rating.
