Glad you like them all, as you can see some of the latest casts raw -unpainted) appear in their respective positions , for example the 4 wren pawns , the King and the Bishop. Although this makes a nice set, it is still not a match for the film original , not nearly noir enoigh ! so to that end I am going to re-work and re-cast the most obvious piece. Updates in a week or so all things considered |

Very nice! This is another prop on my "must have" list. You've done a great job so far on the original sculpts! _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! You know; a headache with pictures? |

I'm SPEECHLESS. I have NO speech.
I cannot begin to fathom how it would be to have THAT MUCH talent. _________________

Yes Rick Rules OK! , I bow to a superior talent, mine is only a meagre attempt to create a look a-like set ,Rick's is absolutely on the nail! a complete recreation !!, although the tables a bit OTT and not film accurate - it does fit the BR world and I just love it! absolutely fabulous..... |

OMG! That's it , I'm blind! Rick did a hell of a job on that project...and I thought that the table was a very good addition to the BR world and the eclectic decor of Sebastien's apt. |

The details in the table are inspired by the architecture in the movie set version of the Bradbury. Rick said it is an homage to Sebastian and his deteriorating nature. More to come from him on the website too since this is the first sneak peek of the chess set.

Thank you all for your kind comments regarding my Sebastian table and chess set concepts. I have obsessed over this project for about two years now. As Andy pointed out, I wanted to give more gravity to this bit of kipple. I attempted not only to capture the style of the film in creating the architecture of the table, but I also wanted to capture the reflection of the man, J.F. Sebastian, in its rusty and tarnished finish, and in the darker, more brooding, expressions in the faces of the pieces themselves.
Thank you, again.
Sincerely,
Rick _________________

Rick, you definitely accomplished all those things.
Your chess set & table are things of beauty.
Love 'em.
