Awesome work Al, I can actually see this design being used in the prequel if as the only correct nod to that sad movie alien-4 . Count me in if you still plan to make kits of this...love your work... _________________ ______________________________________

thanks guys, i will probably be selling the cast parts and the plans to make the main body, but not an official kit. but if you can make the main body all the other parts will be there if that makes sense.
let me know if your interested it will determine how in depth i make the molds.

I got the two cargo boxes Molded and cast the pieces, still have two more to make. also finished the detail on the lower square part. scribed some lines and added some detail. Next up, cast the cone part and some engine parts and the cockpit which should be a challenge. i cant wait to make the cockpit interior and add the glass.
Heres a few pics, thanks for looking.

Thanks Guys, i cant wait to start the cockpit interior. once the glass goes in and there seats and control panels its going to look sweet. Like i said before im molding every part, so if any one wants a set let me know. all youll have to build is the main body structure which is basically 4 box sections.

I would love a set of parts Al, I assume it will have the cockpit pod? even it is just a cast, that will be fine with me _________________ ______________________________________

Yes the cockpit is included, just not the interior. the only parts that will have to be built are the main body sections and the cockpit interior.
the cockpit will be layed up in Epoxy fiberglass so it will be very thin but very strong.

Is that stuff called "EPOXAMITE"??
Funny you should mention that...today with my materials order I found a box of that (the kit) and I called the supplier to tell them they made a mistake, and they said it was a free epoxy kit they were including because they want people to try it out... I think I will try this stuff! _________________ ______________________________________

Its probably the same stuff just there named brand. Epoxy is great stuff doesnt smell like regular fiber glass resin and has almost zero shrinkage unlike fiberglass which can shrink up a half inch or more depending on the size of the part. The only draw back with the Epoxy is it takes longer to dry. which will slow down making the parts fast, but in the long run a better product. _________________ www.bootcampaign.com

Started on the lower wing, the square section not sanded is where the engine will mount to. still have to smooth it out and primer.
Thanks for looking.
