I'm excited, this is an excellent book. Hopefully it successfully makes the transition to the screen. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! You know; a headache with pictures? |

Perhaps even more interesting than Scott taking on this new work, is one of the last things mentioned, that Sony is remaking Total Recall.
Why on earth would they want to do that?? It wasn't that long ago and wasn't that good in the first place. |

Total Recall, while it doesn't seem so was twenty years ago. Not bad, I think with some better choices of actors and some snazzed up effects it could be worth revisiting.
I think the miniseries approach is a good one for the TMITHC story, although I'm already guessing some themes will be cut or downplayed to make the story easier to follow. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! You know; a headache with pictures? |

It's set in the 60's in the United States, which lost WW2, and is held half by Germany, and Half by Japan (East and West respectively, iirc). A lot of the story revolves around the I Ching which is a book that can help predict possible futures. The story is strange but very engaging, as you could imagine an alternate history book written by PKD would be. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things!
