Saw this on evilBay tonight. . . is this a direct recast of Rick's snubbie?
Item # 190126816390.
Sorry if this breaks any rules. _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing. . . |

Actually, that's a retooled hartford blaster. No RR parts on that one. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

I am pretty sure live auctions ARE allowed, This isn't the RPF. If it is something rare or mislabeled you might want to hold off posting though. Just in case someone is watching it. Also I usually hold off bidding/posting if I recognize the name from here. At this point I don't think it would create any bidding wars to post from here, but someone looking for these items would also be very grateful. I say as long as we practice common courtesy and let each other know we are bidding on something, it is a good practice to post the auctions.
As far as the snub, I have been wondering if it was converted from a Rich Coyle, but Noeland should know. It isn't a Rick Ross for sure though. |

If any parts of this are from Rich, they'd only be the triggers and trigger guard, but I don't think they are. They don't look like the triggers from my 2 Coyle blasters anyhow.
The guy who made this posted the thing for sale on ASAP 3 years ago maybe? That's where I first saw it.
He explained in that thread that he'd modified a hartford casting (probably one of the orginal resin MIM's though) to get to the snubby masters. I'll surf on over to ASAP and see if it's still there.
I bought one with the intention of using it as Captain Mercer's backup in our fan film, but seeing that we never shot the scenes he'd use it in, it's still sitting in a box on shelf, along with a resin COP, and a marco recasting a friend gave me. And a Vash gun, and Korbin Dallas gun, and my recently purchased Rick Ross snub.
You know, I should go build something . . .
Edit:
Here it is:

Turns out I posted my ass off in that thread!! hahahaha.
And the thread isn't as old as I thought either. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

Ah, got it!
I'm not as "up" on BR props as I am on Star Wars stuff.
Didn't know there were other snubbies out there.
Thanks guys! _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing. . . |
