Yep. From what I saw in the Huebner drawings is that he seemed to either work from the existing set, or at least the finished set drawings pretty faithfully. I had always hoped to find more of his renderings to get a better glimpse of the unseen parts of the apartment.
Looking great Ben,

Looking good Ben...I'll try to prepare a set of sketches showing the different accessories found in the apt. You have already done the main pieces (couch, piano, tables, etc) now it's the smaller ones that makes it interesting. But before that, I'll have to finish my Nostromo corridor |

I was thinking a KEY sheet for the set dressing, with LETTERS indicating where they are and a LEGEND on another page so we can see the actual set dressing item. I seem to be bouncing fromm script writing to set building to floorpplan rendering... and squeezing in animation test shots when i can. _________________ I've had people walk out on me before, but never when i was being so charming |

apologies for the long duration while i finalize the flpoorplans. I am a stickler for detail and accuracy. My own worst critic. I want it to be something we all WANT to have. I am beginning to feel like a human esper machine, trying to see around corners and into shadows of the pictures i have. thank you for your patience, my fellow BR fans. _________________ I've had people walk out on me before, but never when i was being so charming |

We have waited over 25 years...a little more won't kill us
Keep up the good work Ben, but no pressure. Keep it fun for yourself.

No probs and no pressure! When it becomes a job it's time to stop: have fun with it, and yes, it's a long term and difficult project... |

I've had the hardest time trying to pin down the geometry of the apartment set. Tough to put it all together.
Can't wait to see what your final layout looks like.
Nick
ps- here's my favorite new shot from the 5 disk set.

I have a SIMILAR frame capture i have used, but yours is much more clear... good shot of the couch paisely shaped arms. I will be getting a run of the plans by end of January. _________________ I've had people walk out on me before, but never when i was being so charming |

Good stuff! Btw, are you going to place a piece of glass in front of your lense when filming (you know, to smooth the edges and make it appear ''real'')? |
