I'm Number 1!!!!
I'll break the bottle of champagne here by showing off a few pieces of my Blade Runner collection:
And here, is a close up of the wonderful gift that Moogybaby, upon hearing that I did not yet own a PK-D, graced me with this past Monday night:
I cannot thank him enough for this amazing gesture of friendship that will not be soon forgotten.
edited to set the image tags correctly - enjoy the pics

Very sweet. I just picked up a 12 x 12 shadowbox for mine yesterday. I'm thinking of painting it black and lining it with red felt, to really show off the PK-D. Right now, the badge patch will be a place holder for the metal one that John (spinner44.com) has on the back burner.
I do need to do something with the triggers. They're both floating and sit wherever they feel like. Are yours secured in place, or is there a spring or something? |

The triggers are held in by a pin which you can see in the picture, they do have some movement, but no spring that allows them to snap back. For the most part, it is just static.
I too am looking forward to the badge _________________ www.propsummit.com

The first is the latest Coyle model. I'll be posting new pics as I am repainting it. The second one one is of my dearly departed PKD-Magnum by Rick Ross. |

Great looking stuff everyone! My C&S ended up chipped when I sent it off to have a case made for it, so I'm currently awaiting the final disposition on my insurance claim with the post Office.
If anybody knows where a fellow propster might acquire a PKD, either I or II, snubnose, or magnum, shoot me a PM. I'm not too picky about the model type, just love the Rick Ross design. Either a kit or finished is alright by me.
Thanks,
Bruce |

I've always loved that pistol but still do not have one in my collection.
I will have to remedy that before the end of the year.

You are looking for Richard Coyle, RACProps on the RPF and PropMaker on eBay. I believe he offers an RPF member discount, so you probably want to send him a message there or through eBay to find out for sure.
His C&S is the definitive version of this classic sci-fi gun. There is no doubt that the Doppleganger PKD models are unique as the first realization of the blaster, and the designs are worth owning in their own right, but the C&S was researched to be as close a reproduction to the actual hero prop as possible.

I know Richard He sells a wonderful Battlestar Galactica Blaster pistol kit.
Edit:
Never mind Thats Rob I'm thinking of.
Just went to his site http://www.scifimodels.com/props.html and I see he now has the snub nose resin kits.
I have been to Richards Site http://www.racprops.com/index.php
He has done some wonderful props.
I remember buying a Phaser from him at a convention, the one with the Radio Shack button, It was my first classic Phaser. I do not have it anymore I gave it to a friend that had always wanted one, now I have one made by Ed Miarecki.
He gave it to my when he was teaching me how to make props.

It is in Deckards apartment on top of Piano. It should also be noted that Darcjedi discovered a second duck on the piano as well!
Here is a screen cap from the movie (thanks darcjedi)
Here is my fine looking duck

I know some of what what said above is older, but i thought I would chime in to let you know that Rick Ross will be resurrecting his snub nose and his magnum soon for an intial limited release that may become bigger depending on interest...

Rick went through some tough stuff living in NYC during 9/11, but it sounds like he putting his toes back in the water. He is working out of his apartment, so this will be no big run. He said he will be making official anouncements this weekend or next week. I hope I didn't hijack this thread. I just want Rick to know how we all feel about his work. I may publish a rough draft of my interviews with him on this site or bladezone(or both). I know he probably won't be taking orders, only putting up stuff probably on ebay later on. |
