Thanx guys,
Each hull weighs approx. 1150 grams. I use 900 grams of epoxy, although some of that ends up in the cup and not in the model. So probably 800 grams of epoxy and about 350 grams on carbon fibre.
Next post i'll include some size ref pics.
Cheers,
Wasili |

Wasili, have you fallen off the face of the earth? No new posts since January? I can't believe I'm the only one left wondering about your progress on this vehicle….. |

Last post on the RPF (07/28/2012) was stating that he'd lost someone in his family...I hope he'll come through with his very difficult project |

My apologies, I do not follow the RPF on any kind of a regular basis. You will notice however, that my first unanswered inquiry regarding his whereabouts was way back on 3/31/2012. |

Does anyone know what has happened to Wasili and his magnificent APC?
Is he lost forever? |

I think it was at the beginning of last week that Wasili appeared on the RPF with a new Battlestar Galactica project, but reassured everybody that he was finally going to finish the APC.
I can’t wait to see it finished as his quality of construction and attention to detail are amazing! |

I've followed Wasili's thread on the RPF for quite some time as well. I pm'd him a while back both to say I hoped he could stick with it as I reckoned it would be the benchmark for all succeeding attempts at the vehicle, and to ask how much a complete kit would be. I have to say my jaw hit the deck when he said it would set me back, I think he said, about GBP450. I thought it would be way more than that. I doubt, if that is even only roughly what he is charging, that he's making anything on them. Anyone know what they are going for at all?
But they are quite fantastic models. _________________ I'd love to build big models, sadly I'd need to knock a few walls down first. |
