I Hi
I was wandering if any one can help me?
I am looking for A replica of the Gun used by Det. Sgt. Matthew Sykes (James Caan)
In the First Alien Nation Movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094631/
I was watching the film again And figured out that the gun they used was A 454 CASULL Model 83 Revolver with scope.
Here are a couple of screens from the movie.
photos of real Gun:
I would Prefer A Non firing version, More of A replica than An actual Gun:
Does any one know where I can find maybe an Air soft version Something? |

You might try looking at Marushin airsofts. They make a few revolvers, one of them is the Sturmruger Super Blackhawk Maxi. Its not dead on to the Casull, but its very very close aside from the back of the trigger guard. They make it in both black and sliver versions. Scroll down a bit and you'll see the black version: http://www.endoshoji.com/page041.html
As a side note, looking at the Marushin catalog, they also make a couple of COP 357 versions, including a long version of it. Scroll down a bit and you'll see the COP versions: http://www.endoshoji.com/page026.html _________________

Thanks Loyalizer.
I might go for that one.
All I would need to do is Find A more accurate trigger guard perhaps from A 454 And scope.
I wander if A Casull Scope would fit on this?
Thanks again. |

I'm not sure about using a real steel scope on an airsoft, as the airsoft might not be exactly 1:1 scale, but off by a few millimeters. I'm pretty sure most airsoft sites have scopes and mounts that can be made to fit, the thing about that Casull scope is it looks like the mount might be machined onto the revolver frame, and I don't know if that could be done with an airsoft.
As for using real parts on the airsoft... it would depend on how accurately the company modeled the gun on the real steel. I know that the Maruzen CA 870 shotguns can take real 870 parts with some modification and that most Tokyo Marui .45s can take real steel parts like the grips, slide stop levers, grip safety, safety lever, and in some cases the iron sights. _________________

Hi
The Loyalizer
I went ahead an purchased the 10.5 Inch version of the Blackhawk. Looks More impressive. Apparently the 7.5 Inch version in Silver is out of stock all over.I am really excited, that the is my first Airsoft gun and I am looking forward to mounting the Weaver Scope on it.
I will post some pictures when it arrives from Arsoft Global.com (Hong Kong)

Looks great! I was really impressed with the detail that Marushin puts into its airsofts. Your replica came out looking really great. Does it shoot well? _________________

More so as A Nice Replica. I love tinkering with it and so in.
I want to keep it as pristine as I can. |
