Been busy...we are doing our best to get a majority of the harder parts done first now...currently, we are working on the Steyr! This is one tricky piece to CAD out but we are on it so it will be in CAD and we will be machining some once ready...the entire top piece too. Sleeve, Bolt, Lever, Safety etc...give us time its a lot of hard work...the sight rods and barrels are easy and were gonna make about 20 or so of each and I'll look here and make a list to be posted soon. Cheers, thank you everyone. This is s dream I've wanted to make come true since I was 13...stay tuned. Cheers! |

Such awesome news! You're helping with making my dream come true too darth! God bless you for this, if I can possibly be of any help to you just let me know? I just went and picked up my SL Rifle today! It's gorgeous too, doesn't look anywhere near what a 47 year old rifle would usually look like at all. I would be glad to help you as much as you will be helping me, so please do not hesitate to ask? Thank you.
Damion
PS: If anybody out there knows and could please post any great Steyr SL disassebly thread links, I would be forever grateful for it!? I need to know everything about my SL, including scope ring mount removal.
Thanks! _________________ Damion: ogrotesque1 |

It comes apart pretty easily From the wood stock. Only a few screws hold that together. Another couple of pin needs to be punched out to get triggers off

Barrel needs to be removed by a gunsmith unless you don't care about damaging it. |

Your more likely to damage your main frame than the barrel..
Best to have a pro remove it.

No worries, I was able to get it all apart without any problems....well except for those damn scope mount bases in the receiver, are those not the most shallow slotted screws in existence!? Good Lord!! Thanks Steve. _________________ Damion: ogrotesque1 |

Hi, sorry, I'm pretty new here and I guess I'm a little late to this thread, but I'd definitely be interested in steel sight rod and any steel replacement components if there are spots available pending pricing. Thanks for offering to work on these! |

I’ve been wondering the exact same thing!?
Please come through on this for us darthwolf7? Any upgrades like these would totally make for such a win-win all the way around! You’d knock it out of the park with this!!
