Well done! You're right, it's really exciting to know that elusive shape can now be realised.
Will it be a finished bottle i.e labels, cap and tag for that price?
We in the community should all be very thankful that someone has the initiative and resourcefulness to see a project like this through. |

The bottle will be delivered empty. You'll just have to put good Wiskey inside... or tea, for a more screen-accurate version !!!

Ha ha!
Was it really tea?
I may treat myself and fill it with Johnnie Walker blue label
Which, after trying the entire range in Scotland, i found to be the finest whisky i have ever tasted. |

Well, Since Ridley Scott did several takes on a lot of shots on BR (look at the documentary "Dangerous Days"), I just hope for Harrison Ford it was tea...
I Did it once to make a joke, I was drinking tea straight from a bottle of Jack Daniels during a party, looking drunk... You should have seen the faces of the guys who wanted to taste that "Whiskey" ! The color is quite the same, it works very well !!!)
I think I'll put Armagnac in mine...

Yes NYzeki, Welcome! Are you the fellow from Japan that just signed a Statement of Interest? We now have two on the list!
You Guy's that are planning on putting Tea in your bottles should keep in mind that it DOES get moldy after a while...how do I know this?
From many play's in which I had to drink on stage only to discover that the Stage Manager had not cleaned out and refilled the tea in bottles that had sat over a week-end!
Can you say moldy tea lumps? I knew you could. Cheers! |

NAW...Tea is OK...I just don't know any self respecting REP Detect that would put it in his Whiskey Bottle!
I've heard that Ford got really drunk on JWB the last night of shooting BR. |

Really looking forward to the completetion of this project, and with that said, it's really fun beeing a part of it as well. A true testament, to how creative and dedicated fans can be. A very big thank you, and great job goes out to Once Bitten, for his work so far.
Also fun to see that the bottle will be going out and about in this world. Two from Japan I read? As for myself, a bottle will be proudly displayed in Norway.
Am I the only customer in Norway so far? |

Thanks tmork and Skin Job and everybody for the kind words and support...
I'm very excited to see all the places that the bottle will be shipping to...Japan,Canada,France,England,Poland,Norway, to name a few...
I am REALLY hoping that when people recieve the bottle, they will take it to a place of notoriaty in their country, take a photograph with the bottle and post it here at Propsummit...I think that would be too cool!
I have mentioned this idea to a couple of our French signers...wouldn't it be great to see the bottle in the hands of someone standing on the Eiffel Tower?!

Make that 73 and our THIRD signer from Japan...I fear there may be a rush as soon as the bottle news hits Tokyo!
I have also been informed by the bottler that they are finishing up a mass production order and that as a result my order had to be pushed back a week. I'm hoping for pics by the end of next week. |

Make that 74 - I posted my Statement of Interest today and got your reply via email Once-Bitten.
I noticed there's more than a few people like me that are interested in purchasing more than one bottle... hopefully that will help to fulfill the minimum production amount that I'm sure the bottlemaker has imposed.
I've been a collector of glassware for years (I have WAY too much I think) but I've always wanted to aquire the "Johnny Walker" bottle and whiskey glasses from BR. I'm going to purchase a couple of the Arnolfo di Cambio DOF glasses to go along with the bottle - I'm really glad I happend on this website doing research on the blaster replicas, otherwise I wouldn't have found your link to the bottle reproduction nor the whiskey glasses! Thanks much!

The last up-date has been sent to you Scoffman.
Actually you are signee 78...I haven't kept up on my up-dates here at the Summit as much as I should...bad me.
Nothing new to report I'm afraid...I am hoping though that when I do finally recieve pics of the bottle, that I will be deluged with them.
Soon...very soon now... |
