At this point I am considering going to a local "Mom-and-Pop" bottler I have been told about that supposedly takes on "small run" bottle projects.
Before I do though I would like to come up with some kind of scematic that shows the exact measurements of the bottle.
So...using one of the big real bottles as the beginning point, I have been trying to come up with some measurements.
I don't suppose anyone just happens to have the measurments of the actual screen used prop? |

well-done Once-Bitten (and Andy)!
finally, people taking this most evasive BR prop seriously. for those of us who are interested yet without the skills/resources to realize such a piece, know that there is great interest in seeing this to fruition. should you in fact come up with a piece, let us know if we can buy a facsimile of this long sought-after bottle! to pour JWB from it into my cibo glasses would be a dream come true!
thanks for all of your hard work! |

I still do not want to take any credit for this. Other people have been doing all the work. All I did was collect JPGs of it. There also has to be someone here who has an HD version of the movie that can get some better screen caps for you. |

Thanks for your interest and incouragement! I will certainly make them available IF I can get them made...no promises at this point but, like you, it's something I have had in the back of my mind for a long while...It's about time that it gets done!!
I almost forgot! I have one more BR label variation to create and post. You guy's will see it as soon as I have it finished.
No worries Andy! I understand you not wanting to take any credit in an official copacity, though I do appreciate your input from time to time...thanks for following this thread.
I would ofcourse be interested to see any and all screen caps or to hear any and all tech info about this bottle that anyone has to offer.
More soon. |

I asked Phil some time ago if he had any info on the BR bottle and he said he didn't...maybe I'll give him another try... |

I may have been wrong. I Thought I remember reading on the RPF about how he was looking to have them made. It has been a while since I read it, so I could be wrong.

Well I posted Phil again anyway and he said he didn't have anything...but that he might in the future...? Not certain what that meant exactly but I also invited him to take a look here and see what he thought.

Thanks Mike!
After looking at these I now realize that I may have to do some more tweeking of the text on the main label. |

Here at long last is the final detail for the bottle...sorry it took so long.
First image being the bottle itself from the movie.
Second image is the detail of the seal and last image being the whole concept image.
I speculated that since the famous "Walking Man" had been removed from the label in the movie that it probably appears in the little seal around the neck.
What do you think?

Thanks Pete!
I'm looking into some interesting ways of creating a "Model" of the bottle for use in it's final construction in glass...I'll post again here when I have something. |

The cool thing about this is we are using an actual JohnnyWalker bottle that is cut down in the neck area and extended with a piece of dowel to sculpt the neck up to where it is in the movie.
Anybody out there own a small roto-cast machine? |

No doubt!
Well, finding out today that the whiskey bottle was a "found" object IN NO WAY deterrs me from the idea of making my own.
I have promised the sculpter to take some photo's of his recent Andorian sculpture and then he has promised to get to work on the bottle for me. |
