While I was toying around with my PKD box, I decided to put my own spin on the old money theme. I figured since the tried and tested version of notes featuring spinners, machines and the like had been done before, I would try a solution that concentrated on the animals of BR - after all I've never seen a police car on any notes I've ever owned..!
I have made all of the elements from scratch with a tip of the hat to some of the well known BR icons while at the same time, keeping faithful to the idea of the 'tooled' features of a genuine banknote.

Cheers mate.. I'm a little worried some people will feel I'm spoiling it for the guys trying to make some $$ out of this hobby. I hope not because that's not my intention, but this might need to be the last free one.... _________________

Making money off prop replicas seems akin to selling a Linux distro. You can, and people can buy it (which may have it's advantages to both parties), but if someone wants to give it away they can. Besides, you are the one who did all the work, it's up to you whether or not you want to give it away.
Anyone selling their own props has those same options. Especially with the money, which is up to personal interpretation.
And, thanks! Your work is amazing. _________________ Good against remotes is one thing. Good against the living? That's something else.

I sold my props to refund myself, nothing else (and offered some here and there aswell).
IMHO this is the right way to do things, at least at a small scale (no "big" investment on my side, around 1000€ per project) (yeah, 1000€ is big money for a can and a set of paper props, but I'm a perfectionist !)
My 2 cents regarding this aspect of the hobby... and btw WELL DONE, STAAR !!! really impressive bills !!!

Cheers for the kind words guys and for the comments on making freebies available. I'm delighted that overwhelmingly, there is support for the odd free item because I do know that there are some people who get pissed off because they see their potential $$ share being eroded.
Since my professional profile can't allow me to do freebies (not that I would want to since I'm absolutely draconian when it comes to being paid the correct amount for what I do), its refreshing to be able to have some fun from time to time and for me, this forum specifically allows me just that.
Cheers again mates. _________________
