Thanks God not a real sprinkler system; with all the smoke Ridley used during the shoot, you could've set this sucker off every hour of every day |

I added some new sketches for the layout of the apartment using photos and the MENTOR drawings, and the plans for the ARGYLE CHAIR in 1/6 scale to my album if you wanna check it out.

Worked on the 1/6 scale set of the ELEVATOR... it is a small project and i need to feel i am actually BUILDING something. Posted pics here. The Padding pattern was an interesting problem to figure out... had to wash out the darkness in the frame captures to see them.

Check out Zhora's dressing room for more shots of the elevator panels too.

So far so good ...love the black and white pics. How are you going to do the elevator panels? Speaking for me, I would use foam and a hot iron to do the grooves in the panels (blue foam is the best and you can sand it easely too). Don't know what kind of camera you're using, but to soften your shot you could use the glass pane in front of your lense trick; looks more "life-like" and less artificial (I know, they're test shots...my 2 cents only) |

The camera i am using is a Canon Power Shot SD1200 IS... same one i use for work. I agree wit the window pane trick... old tricks are still the best. As for the pattern for the elevator panels... when i build the final one i will use a foam cutter and blue foam. Great minds think alike, and me too sometimes. |

Yes but your security does not help me.
Okay let's try this:
You are the best prop maker I have seen that does not sell their stuff.
The world should not be denied your props
How's that????? |

It's a work of love for sure. Love the drawings...as much as I love the CAD program, it's always faster to put pencil to paper and get good results. Keep up the good work! |
