I love what you've done, using the actual pics and drawing your perspective on them (clever). The chairs in Decks apt. are also difficult to repro...if you need anything, let me know (PM).

the custom coil couch is a b@#ch to see in ANY shot i can find. Need to see the side tables and how they are connected... the coil chair is a bit easier. The argyle chair is easy to draw, but hard to find premade in the correct scale. the1/6 scale ones being too thick. yes, Joberg, i may enlist your skills to walk me thru construction.... your a good man to offer!!

Anytime I'll see something or have additional info: you'll be the first to know (that or I'll PM you a drawing ). The sofa is the of the same design as the chair (a base with three ribs and then on top is that fold of a long sausage ).

Teardrop (with fabric and with that particular design) is not easy to make. I don't know what you'll use to repro the sofa, chair and side table but I was thinking Sculpey or other similar medium, and then paint it with a silver colour and add sparkles

Pixi dust, the fine sparkles some women wear on their faces might be small enough to not be noticeable and ruin the illusion of scale. Some pearlescent paints may also work,

Liquidtex produce some textured acryllic paints in a variety of finishes some are pearlescent and they do a range of sparkly paints as well !

Yep, at my store they sell a spray can full of sparkly dust mixed in with a clear mat varnish...easy to use and I believe the sparkles would be in scale with a 12 inche puppet. Smile

I have a while before i am building the set... want to finish the script and the set floorplans... may be farming out the construction of some essential set pieces to speed progress. But the coil couch and chair will be made from sculpey unless i find an upholestry outlet. Wink

Good idea, I would go with Sculpey as well. The rest of the furniture would be a mix media type of project (wood, plastic, cardboard, metal, etc).

Glad to see that you're still at it Wink Good thing that you're spending all that time making sure the floor plan is accurate, that'll help you with the actual set...which I'm eager to see.

Before going into the BR/Alien prop-repro-dept. I was into the diorama stuff...and I had to stop because of a few things: lack of room (my stuff is always big scale) and the time spent at getting every little details so as to be photographed in the right light (exterior shots mainly) and puzzling people about the real scale (true or dio?). I really admire our friend here and the work he's doing, 'cause it's only going to get more complicated in the future Wink
