If I'm perusing Ebay and I see a BR-related item that is out of my range what do I do?

Do I tip you folks off in the hope that a BR fan gets their hands on said item OR
assume some of you are already watching it and that you'd rather have as few people knowing about it as possible?

It is usually the low priced items you don't want to tip off, or step on, partially to help keep the prices low for all of us. If it is a Buy it Now though, I will certainly tip off the members here to make sure one of us get it. No one should be waiting on a BIN, because if they are priced well they will fly. If it happens to be a middle price, or fair priced item it can be a bit tricky though. Might be best to hold off with something like that to prevent bidding wars and driving the price up where speculators will get into the mix bidding against us.

Original Art Deco 1939 New York Worlds Fair Saturn Lamp Green White Ring Stars.

Excellent condition. Pricey but with a 'buy it now' option and no mention of BR in the spiel.

Nice find Very Happy

But too pricey in my opinion, when you consider that this isn't screen accurate... The one in the movie didn't have the stars and was all green... A screen accurate one will set you back $3000 Sad

Aaaaand.... It's quite easy to paint them with transparent glass paint to make them screen accurate and look good Very Happy Very Happy
