After years of having this kit in storage I have finally dug it out and have began clean-up and rough assembly. Since there are no instructions I have been looking at the sidkit instructions as a guide as well as the bulldog schematic. Unfortunately I cant make heads to tails of this kit and could really use the knowledge of the forum to help me through. Ill break it down into general questions and assemblies.

Triggers:

1. are the triggers on this kit functional, at least the bulldog one? I see the pins but there does not appear to be a trigger spring or hammer block which would link up the trigger to the hammer. There is a hole in the top of the trigger that may allow a rod to link to the hammer.

2. does the second trigger just hang there?

Cylinder Latch:

1. the sid kit has a spring system, does the coyle operate the cylinder or at the least have a spring so that it can be moved back and forth? it seems loose when screwed on, is there supposed to be a washer installed behind like the bulldog schematics show?

Hammer:

The hammer seems to function

1. Why are there two main spring seats (black and white)?
2. should i follow the bulldog schematics for assembly? there appears to be a very small spring (plunger spring) and small tube (plunger) that go between the hammer and the hammer pawl. there may be copper tubing supplied with the kit for this.

Cylinder:

wtf?

1. my kit has a brass tube and brass rod that i am assuming mate together as a proxy for the real ejector rod. how does this go together?
2. does this somehow work with the above mentioned cylinder latch?

random:

does anyone have a couple of tiny #2-56 x 1/2" flat head machine screws? My kit appears to be missing these which hold the bulldog grip and frame together.

Thanks in advance for all your help, ill start to take more detailed pictures of each assembly if anyone can help with specifics. I kind of feel like rich just grabbed a bunch of random springs and bolts and put them in my kit. Hopefully this is just my ignorance in not seeing the whole picture.

Really? I was on there yesterday and he has some collections of how to assemble the electronics and how to attach some of the larger metal pieces but there is nothing there about the cylinder (other than the swing arm) cylinder latch, triggers, hammer or any other internal mechanics. Am I not looking in the correct place on his fb page? The random photos I found there do not even cover 50% of the assembly.

Nope. There are a couple of pics of the hammer but not how to connect it to the trigger.

If anyone has built one of these and could show me the way I would be most greatful!

Weird. He usually answers. There's been a bit more quit lately due to some health related issues.
