|
|
I finally got my Tomenosuke Blaster "Harrison Ford Signature Edition" two days ago.
It comes in a wooden box, and you get a wooden display stand, 2 posters & photos, 2 booklets and a photo of Harrison Ford signing the plaque.
Thank you to Mune for getting me a "low number" (4/100), too.

Thanks all.
Yes, Mark, your sketches are great
I was a bit clumsy and the bottom of the "2049" A4 poster did get stuck on the adhesive part of the plastic sheet where the posters were... well, so it's "weathered" now. |

Does the storage box come with a liner or anything?
The blaster sits on the piece of foam inside the bottom of the cardboard box for display?
Best,
Karl |

The box is "empty". In my photo you see the "bottom part" of a "normal" cardboard Tomenosuke box (+ foam) which was inside the wooden box.
Without it, you would just see wood. |

Would have been great if the wood box was lined with a special foam/leather/cloth or whatever for display. The brass plaque is cool.
I guess being a blank wood box, makes it ripe for personal customization and upgrades. |

Yes, and I think it's rather wise that they did it this way. Sometimes foam & leather don't go well together when the glue ages, as I already experienced it. |

Here's the wooden display stand & the booklets you probably already know.
I think the display stand needs some delicate sanding, because right now I can't push the 2 parts totally in place. Anyway I would be too afraid to put this wonderful blaster on it !

If you put that prop on its stand, it should be behind glass and key |
