You're right...apart from the finish (which I love) the grips are an interesting idea: making the inner workings of the gun showed that way is an additional industrial look that no one, apart from you mate, had thought of yet. |

Heard you the first time
I've had some fun myself with double posts recently...
I want to try flat faced grips on a standard blaster.
I have a spare pair of ambers.
Might give it a go! |

Beautiful blaster! Now you need to make a unique holster to match. |

Thank you.
Yes, I was thinking about a holster.
I think black would be the way to go for this one, to fit the monochrome theme.
I'm already on record saying how impractical the original holster design is. So, I'd want to advance that design along with the blaster. Enclose the blaster more securely.
I'm a big fan of thumb breaks on holsters too.
Hmmm........ |

Man, that is a cool build. I have always loved variant blasters, and I dig 2-tone finishes as well. I did some amber grips this way (with the checkering sanded off, and polished up clear) on a resin blaster build years back, and I put a dragon graphic behind the grips as the casting didn't have the grip frame and main spring. I like yours a lot more.
You got more pics?? Lets see some more shots of that sucker!
And I agree, a different more secure holster would be great.
