Well I thought I would share and also ask if we have anyone here who is adept in Flash Actionscript. Unfortunately I am what as know as a tweener. I have just been too busy to learn actionscript. I realize it makes for faster movie loads and more fluid movement. The latter being my weakness. Anyway, here is a sample of what I am working on at present. It's still rough:

Thanks for looking.

looks good spinner. though it's a bit of a long wait for the blimp animation to go through. will you have the selections load up as the animation still plays? or just a skip intro option? |

Yeah it was long. I shortened it. It will actually be incorporated into the main page. I hate intro pages. They keep you another step away from the content.
More to come.

You know what - the more I look at it, the more cheesey it looks. I thought I would be happier than I am, but alas I think I will go back to the drawing board. Maybe something more Sin City in it's feel.
Thank for the comments, but I will try again.

If you can cross Sin City with Blade Runner you would truly be my hero!
Maybe make it more dramatic then? I don’t see much wrong with it, but you could exaggerate it a bit more and it might look right to you.

Wait, what's wrong with it? I think it looks fantastic, and only the blimp looks a little odd/out of place to me...but I can't even put my finger on why. But I think it looks great _________________

The blimp looks a little bit strange, like a Dali elephant on beam legs, know what I mean ?
But the BG (with added coloring) and rain effect are GREAT, Bravo !!! Can't wait to see a Sin City version of this !!!

What caught my eye is the blimp is out of perspective for this shot, and that makes it look off. I think if you rotate it so that the blimp is more horizontal as opposed to angled, it might look more like its in the proper perspective.
Also its a bit huge compared to the towers and such, maybe scale it down about 20-25%. The other thing is the light beams should pass behind some of the foreground towers so that it places the blimp in the midground.
My 0.02 cents:

Thanks, but I'm not exactly working in 3-D. It's more of a collage design, working with existing material. In the end it's part of why I didn't like it myself. The next design will hopefully follow what I'm now looking for.
Thanks again for the comments guys.
