I was wondering if any of you knew where I could get plastic IDs printed. I'm working on replicating the CTU Keycard from Season 5. Found the cards, just need a place to print them
thanks,

The printing is the easy part, just about anybody with a laser printer can do that.
It's the heat-seal laminating that is harder to do. Check with a guy at the RPF that goes by Dr. Slurpee (he's also known as Namebrand on propcircle). I believe that he has one (or knows where one is) that he's going to use for a run of name badges from the Firefly episode "Ariel".
Good luck. _________________ Pete |

Are you talking printing on PVC card stock? If so it's a special machine and beyond the DIY, I doubt that you will find anyone to do a small run... But there are alternatives that can be done at home...
Teslin looks almost identical to PVC card stock and what is used by most "fake ID/Drivers License" people...
www.teslin.com
You can get sheets of it from this company...
www.idsupply.com
I have no idea (never purchased it) how heavy it is but you can probably laminate a few together with spray glue to build up the thickness if needed...
As for lamination if that is the problem, I can do that... _________________ Flynn

Jedipunk (Chris) at the RPF does badges. He did some for me and they where fantastic. He is supposed to be opening an account here, so I would say contact him via the RPF.
Here is his website as well:
